A Day In The Life
On any given day at Potomac Dental Centre, you can expect to encounter the following:
- Arriving 15 minutes before our daily morning huddle at 7:30 am.
- Working with a driven team of dental assistants.
- Caring for patients and listening to their needs.
- Working in an office that values team success over individual success.
- Treating every patient with respect and kindness regardless of their behavior.
- Seeing 7-12 patients a day.
- Assisting through procedures in all areas of the clinical space, including room setup/breakdown, four-handed dentistry, sterilization, etc.
- Contributing to supply and inventory management.
- Using all equipment with care.
- Improving on daily essential tasks such as taking quality X-rays and before & after photos, suctioning, and patient care.
- Supporting the hygienist in any needed aspect of preventative and periodontal procedures.
- Completing opening and closing duties as a team.
